Aspects of Love

Alright I know I haven't been posting for an unscrupulously long period of time.

I dunno why but I just decided that today would be a great time to start posting again.

Though my floobie is down. Tsk. So sad. ):

Anyways, since the time I've been gone I've watched two fabulous musicals!

The first was West Side Story and just yesterday, I watched Aspects of Love.

West Side Story had amazing choreography and singing but the ending was just horrible! I found it really, really abrupt and unsatisfying. Lizzy darling agreed with me! And so did the 3 ppl who I watched it with. It had good entertainment value though, and I would much rather have watched that than stayed at home and watch some re-run of Jeepers Creepers ( which Mr Rajesh seems strangely fond of) on channel 5.

Okay, now on to Aspects of Love. Okay, honestly, i wasn't really hyped up about this musical because it didn't get much advertisement and I was only going cos my sis wanted me to.

So I was pleasantly surprised by what entailed.

And by the way, Aspects of Love is one of Andrew Loyd Webber's works. And it was rated 14 and above only! Haha. I was a little excited about that.

Ok, so the story's about this actress who falls in love with a soldier that's much younger than her, and then the actress falls in love with his uncle and gets married to him. The uncle (george), has an Italian mistress and the actress falls in love with her as well. So they form some kind of (sick, though undeniably practical) threesome. And not long later the actress and her husband has a daughter, Jenny, who eventually falls in love with the soldier(remember him?). Confused yet? I hope you are cos I was when I read the synopsis. But watching the musical itself made it all pretty clear. Their feelings were kind of screwed up cos everyone eventually fell in love with the soldier. But I LOVED IT!

The KISS! Oh my god, it was lovely. I know I'm being a bit suaku, but I've never seen anyone kissing so passionately like that on stage before, right in front of me. The soldier's really hot too! I want to be kissed like that! Oh yeah and the kiss between the two women was err....interesting. It was kind of abrupt, the way it happened, but it was interesting nonetheless. But I still love that first kiss between the soldier and the actress because of the way it was built up and they finally did it. Ahhh. I can't get over it. HORNY me.

Oh yeah and I just remembered...I went shopping as well yesterday! God, retail therapy always works! Especially when you have the money to spend!

I bought new lingerie and a new Emily the Strange bag that I've been eyeing since like forever! I love my new bra especially the one that's white with flowers on it. So pretty. And I'm wearing my new pink panty today! I still have a bright blue one that I can't wait to wear! Yay! Shopping makes me HAPPY.

Alright now that I've sufficiently discussed my feelings, I had best be getting back to Hasim's tutorial. He's killing me, in more ways than one. And SOMEONE is SHY about messaging him. That girl ah, say only that she has gotten over him. But I shall protect her privacy here and not mention any names. K, ciao!
