Catching up after long long break =)

Hihihi...im back after not blogging for a super long time...been really busy.
Had Red Cross Camp from 24-26 Nov. I really dunno wad to say about it.
I guess it was kind of a different experience. I think the part i'm gonna remember most is how we stayed up till the wee hours of the morning to barbeque the leftover chicken.
And in the end it still wasn't finished. Gosh! The chickens took a LONG LONG time to cook.
One of the cadets' comments was really kind of painful.
You know...we had the barbeque so that EVERYONE would get to enjoy themselves and eat good food. And we SOOO did not plan it on the spot to sabo the cadets. Sighz. =(
Yeah well anyway although the barbeque wasn't a complete success, I'd say that we had a great experience together and we learnt a lot from it.
Ok, ok...i know im beginning to sound like a preacher. But its true. So YEAH. =)
Yeah so the camp was like ok overall...the firedrills were of course the worst...as usual for all our rc camps...its like a tradition or something...lol. I think the night games were pretty fun lah...not bad...scared my group quite well. *MUAHAHA*(evil grin)
Then next day went jalan raya with most of the last year g1 people plus some g3 ppl also, shall not list all of them out here. But anyway, it was pretty fun.
Just go from house to house eating the food and stuffing ourselves with kueh. Haha.
And we went like totally crazy over Taufik.
Oh ya and by the way.....TAUFIK IS THE SINGAPORE IDOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!
He totally deserves to win...and i'm so NOT being bias. If u had watched the finals u would totally agree that he had sang really well. Especially me and Mrs Jones. He rocks.
CONGRATULATIONS TAUFIK!!!! *big smilez* =)
Yeah so anyway....back to topic...so we went on and on until very late that day and when we went to shazie's house her father kind of lectured us. He said that we all anak dara( young girls) should not be out so late and that he definitely doesn't approve of it. I guess what he said was kind of true lah...but well....i shall not elaborate.
Anyway, the rest of them continued on after that (it was already about 11 plus lah) but i didn't cos i had no one to take a cab home with. Besides, my house was just like two stops away from shazie's. And when i left i hugged everybody and soefie was like "if anything happen to u just scream ok" and i was like huh? Haha. And they were like all asking me to take care. Awww. So sweet. Haha. =)
Alrite final section...Empower U programme!
It totally totally rocks ok!
Ok i shall elaborate...its this 2 and a half day course thing...kind of like a day camp...run by this two Australian guys...that kind of teaches u life-skills and how to step out of your comfort zone.
Some amazing things happened...at the starting of the course we were all like soooo reluctant to clap and reluctant to participate. Towards the end we were cheering and clapping like crazy and even started standing on the chairs!!!
Then there were these dancing sessions that were supposed to keep our energy level up, and I thinnk they did...cos i felt so hyper especially after the last dance session. It was really really fun. I'm telling you, whoever heard of this programme b4, i recommend u to go for it.
We did a lot more stuff to, lots of emotional experiences....but im supposed to keep that a secret.
Oh gosh I miss Brent and Dayle. They were the coolest. The best trainers u could possibly have.
You never see anyone as motivated as them to help young people like us.
I so miss it!!!
Oh yeah and everyone out there...remember that HUGS ARE A GOOD THING. Give as many hugs as you can. They make you feel great. =)
Alright, I'll buzz off for now.
Byeeeeeee!!!
