Rishik's party
Okay, so I'm fully hung-over from Rishik's party today.
According to my sis, I've been in an usually good mood for the whole of today.
Well today has only been for at most 5 hours since I only woke up around 11.
But hey, it feels good to be in a generous mood!
I woke up and VOLUNTARILY went to clean the stove in the kitchen which was so filthy and greasy it was practically calling out to be scrubbed clean.
Then I helped with the cooking, which was delicious of course.
And we just finished watching seabiscuit...its a heartwarming movie. I thought it's be boring but it really isn't, though it got kinda draggy in the end.
It stars Tobey Maguire and I wonder if it's a true story cos it seems suspiciously like one.
So yeah anyway....Rishik's party.
I went late... and i found my way to his place all by myself! Kudos to u girl! Hee. (my sense of direction is bad okay so soefie don't go all like "you've been here twice, you're expected to know the way,etc etc")
Yeah then we had lots of food....and i regretted bringing my spaghetti cos the amounts ppl were eating were really pathetic.
But the food was all good though, as usual. Too bad then that there were so much leftovers.
Then I did my horror mask thing again in a 'thriller' video directed by nadia. Apparently I was really scary. LOL.
We had a poetry session at the end of the party and I think that was one of the nicest moments. Everyone was sitting around the table and we were surrounded by lighted candles (as well as a mosquito coil) and then we started reading. It was really cool as everyone shared their poems, especially the ones that they wrote on their own. Andrea's poem about her mom was something I think everyone could relate to, especially those who knew about her relationship with her mom. Then we attempted Poetry Jamming and well, that was, unfortunately, a bit of a flop. Kenneth's famous second line was "i'm fat" which made no sense at all following rishik's first line. Ah well, I guess spontaneous creativity is not one of our strong points.
It was fun nevertheless.
Oooh, then came the cleaning up. Scrubbing, scrubbing and more scrubbing.
We started talking about Ernesto and his, ehmmm....queer behaviour.
I put it down to LUST (this is an abbreviation for something).
Soefie, in a very soefie-like manner, believed it was due to him having a very long day.
I suppose it could be a combination of both.
And the night left me feeling very confused, but also very happy.
I have so many other things to say but I'm just too lazy to type it out.
The little talk nadia, soefie and I had while waiting for soef's brother was interesting. Sigh.
I don't know, my thoughts are currently all over the place.
So anyway, while we didn't fulfil our aims to wander over to the woods as well as the beach, the party was an enjoyable one.
A little strange, yes, but enjoyable. (=
