Lizzaeh's partyyy
Yay. So I shall blog about Lizzy's party.
Well, the prelude to Lizzy's party was actually pretty interesting too.
Since it was a potluck, and Lizzy needed someone to bring a staple food, I offered to bring roast chicken.
So using a pretty simple recipe, I concocted a roast chicken with stuffing, which took longer than expected.
So I arrived at Lizzy's pretty late....around 7 i think, with Shereen.
And it was raining AGAIN.
But the party was good, and so was the food.
Andrea was so worried about her spaghetti that she was telling us about how she got her bro to try it first and stuff because apparently 'all my friends are good cooks'.
And a few of them complimented my cooking. That made me happy.
Oh yeah, and I wore my kimono top that I brought from UK! It turns out that its a great buy after all cos the one i bought is cheaper than the one zh bought from singapore.
Omg and zh's spending habits are over the top! Apparently she bought a really err, distateful leather bag for 80 bucks! And her sis was screaming at her in the bus for doing that.
Zh's life is like a soap opera okay, I swear.
Just when you get to thinking your life's pretty exciting, you listen to stories about hers and you do a double take.
And Rishik is like the sweetest boy ever! He got all of us these gifts that were suited to ourselves personally and I really like what he gave me! I'm not really sure if I'll ever wear the necklace( cos I have no idea what to match it with) but the basket and the bracelet were so...sweet! It's so ME....as soefie and zh so rightly put it.
Ahhh, thanks Rishik. Love you loads. And not just cos u bought us prezzies. :)
Oh and that job that I tried out for, this promotion job thingy, turns out its a scam. Its just a way to get people's contact details for their telemarketing endeavours. What bullshit. I can't believe they try to deceive people by telling them that they won't call them and that its apparently a 'research on the demographics of shoppers in Singapore'. Like people would really buy that. I had a hard enough time getting ppl to fill up the thing without feeling guilty about it. And there were so many criteria for the eligibility of one voucher that in the end you don't really earn much. Plus, you only get your pay after 14 days. I'm glad I quit after the second day. But there were interesting experiences that came outof the whole thing. Like definitely having to be thick-skinned, and old men hitting on you but being really nice at the same time. Haha. Yeah, there are nice people out there.
Okay, shall stop my ranting here. Sis just ordered Macs which should be here anytime soon. *stomach growling*
I've been eating A LOT lately. Stuffing my face with junk and carbs and what-nots. I'm gonna be a gigantic version of me by the time school re-opens. And then they'll kick me out of the team. Haha. Oh yeah, I'm still wondering if I should audition for Midsummer's Night Dream(next year's school play). Its gonna take a lot of work, and I'm not even sure what the story's about. Better catch up on my reading then. Cya later!
