2 steps forward, 1 step back.

Well, they say you have to lose the battle to win the war.

So that's gonna be my theory for the JCTs.

I mean, if you do well in your JCTs, that would mean you'd peak in your prelims, and then from the peak the only way you can go is down.

Now we wouldn't want that to happen would we?

Ok ok, fine I guess its just a credible way of comforting myself.

But I really do believe in the theory that sitting for a major exam is like a marathon and you have to pace yourself for when you finally reach the end.

Anyway, chilling at Fish n Co. and Amitha's place after lit paper on thursday was immensely stress-relieving.

Oh my god I totally didn't expect it but Zoolander was hilarious! Rishik laughed till he fell off his seat (and I mean this literally).

The movie is basically a parody on male models with the Starsky and Hutch duo as the main stars. I had no idea that Ben Stiller could look so good, I mean they actually made him look like a model! I think its all the make-up plus the fact that I usually overlook his nice features due to his dramatic comedy roles.

This is a 5 star recommendation for a comedy movie...and I'm not that easily tickled!

Or at least my brand of humour is quite elitist. The second half of Borat made me wince and cringe at how disdainful it all was.

Then yesterday was spent shopping with Shereen, Sabby and Kenneth. Shereen and Sabby were quite weirded out by the idea that nef was joining us at first but when he came along we kinda became like his psycho moms trying to get him some decent shirts to wear.

And i bought 3 new tops! Seriously, that's a record for me cos when I go shopping with the girls I usually end up not buying anything or like the last time, just buying one pair of panties (which cost me a grand total of $1).

So yeah I was feeling blissfully happy after yesterday's bout of shopping, tiring though it was. Kenenth's constant whining was a testament to how shopping can be a sport. =P

And when I came home I watched the second dvd i rented from video ezy on thursday, She's the Man! It's really funny, I loved it! Amanda Bynes is SO bad at being a man but that's what makes it so entertaining really. And Channing Tatum is amazingly HOT! Drools~~~.

Okay now I am going to indulge myself in the pleasure of downloading new songs, before I go off for a 4th of July party tonight ( Don't ask me why its being celebrated today).
